NPS AREA 7 UPDATED INFORMATION FOR SHOW
AT BURY FARM ON THE 28TH JANUARY 2012

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ


The Committee is delighted with the response to pre-entries and as a thank you we would like to give something back in these hard economic times.

For Exhibitors with pre-entried back numbers any further entries made on the day will be at the pre-entry price – i.e. £10 for non RIHS and £28 for RIHS Classes

For new exhibitors entering on the day we are reducing the entry fees across the board by £2
The M & M NPS/PUK inhand M & M classes –The Championship will now also include the NPS Silver Medal Rosette qualifier for Summer 2012 Show

NPS Members who are competing in the RIHS workers and Silver Medal we are aware that membership cards are not due to go out until 1st February. The NPS office will send e mail conformation of membership on request; however we hope to have a list of all renewed members to cross reference on the day.

Prize Money Increased in the RIHS WHP classes - 1st prize = £30, 2nd prize = £15 and 3rd prize = £10.

Check your rule book for the new running on the Highland Fells and Dales in the RIHS – they will jump the height of section 2 but then compete the rest in section 3 – therefore all H/F/D MUST JUMP FIRST

WHP Ring start promptly at 0900 with classes running on until the RIHS which will not start before 12 noon

GATES to Bury Farm will open at 7am

For those of you familiar with Bury Farm, the workers will jump in the Indoor International arena then go through to the middle small indoor for ring for Conformation.
Inhand and Ridden rings will be the other 2 indoors rings with the big outdoor surface split for flat warm up and jump warm up.

There is a frost forecast for Saturday morning so early warm up will be in rings 1 and 2 until 0915am.
Class numbers are now up on the website but please note online entries have now closed

Please note that should we be unlucky in having to postpone due to adverse weather  Bury Farm  will try and offer us an alternative date  - Entry fees will be returned less 20% admin fee or held for alternative date

NPS AREA 7

NPS Area 7 is a sub-branch of the National Pony Society, covering the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire areas. We run annual shows for plaited ponies and M&M's, flat and working hunter pony classes and inhand. The Summer show holds qualifiers for the National Pony Society Championship show at Malvern. We aim to offer members training with top trainers and producers throughout the off season October- March. We also support youngsters wishing to aim higher and run young judge training for any that wish to attend, which culminates in a competition at the Championship show. We welcome any comments, questions or feedback on any needs from our members and would welcome your news, photographs or ideas.
